unpacking

I didn't realise how much repeated stuff i have as i was unpacking all my boxes that have been shipped from london when i moved back a while ago. it's funny how i kept buying stuff without realising how much i've got already.. fabric scissors... seam picker... measuring tape... pattern making stuff... it's a full collection. my favourite of all is the pencil on the bottom right. it's been with me for more than a couple of years now. when i draw and take notes... he's the guy! i use to cry when i lost my pencil case back in school days... wasn't that young either!

only a peak

a little peak at what i've been up too in my little studio. My studio is under a mini construction at the moment. putting a fitting room in... space for rolls of fabrics, swatches rail...white curtains for covering up some secrets... projector..slide show

Its been a week since i've got this made. only just got them back today. Sofa.. so good! can't wait to wear this myself!!

i dunno what happened but it's kidda cool

Late this evening i was playing around with my new camera in my back yard. here's what i accidentally got out of it. I dunno what happened to it, but it's kidda cool. got a little bit carried aways by it.

lines

Some fabric manipulation samples i have made myself. I usually start designing from pieces of manipulated fabrics i do, and then i go from there. i like lines, lots of lines, straight lines, horizontal lines, vertical lines, single lines, solid lines, not so solid lines, all the lines, pin tucks, pleats, drawn thread. with just something so straight, you can do so many things out of it. it's as straight forward as that.

nature inspired

a lot of inspirations i have found are from nature... organic kindda things. close up view of this and that. intersection of stuff i found. a lot of the stuff i draw are organic stuff, mostly because you can not go too wrong with those kidda things! sculture is another thing too! 

Here are some samples of what i am talking about. combination of sculptural organic living. Its quite old already, i've fiddled with it back in the days when i was in Chelsea college of art and design  for my foundation. it is one of my favorite pieces as i've made it in a minature size. the coat is around a size chubby's ferry head. For those of you who don't know who Chubby is, chubby is my Pomeranian dog pet.

Ped, casually known as Peduckk, is a graphic designer who has shown her deep passion for photography as her 'hobby'. She has exhibited her work in Tokyo back in 2009; and later on in Bangkok in 2009 at WTF gallery, 'nocturne'; and Copper gallery 'snow white'... and more to come. She is the photographer who notices the unnoticed and that has become a signature of Peduckk photography.
