I was looking through  some old work from my scanned film earlier on this morning to find some inspiration for the collection I am currently working on, which, hopefully will be launched in December. I often go back to my old work to find more inspiration and take some elements from that and make it fresher and more wearable. 

Grungy-chic was the theme i would like to portray in this collection. A girl with a little bit of an edge and feisty attitude yet still let her soft side shines. a balance between the 2 ends of the spectrum that i was trying to portray.

there's a lot of soft woven, knitted wool and some leather being mixed into this collection. A lot of which would be use for pleating panals.

  The universe

This is my new project, a project of becoming an art teacher to little kids age around 5-6 year old. Yesterday was my first class I had with one of the classes. a class of 30 kids. and today, another 30. As it is my first class getting to know the kids, I asked them to draw whatever they want to draw, dinosaurs is quite popular. but my favourite one is "the universe".

These are pieces of different components of some part of my dress that i have made. The pattern have been laser cut out and slit with 2mm gap between each line. I've got these images from playing around with the sample and photocopy machine.

Ironically, what go on beyond that particular door are simply truth, lies, sex and what more. People outside will never have a chance to see what are really going on inside but use own imagination to fill suspicion. Through these art pieces will reflect imagination of curious people who are waiting outside that closing door and what inside people do to fulfill own need when door is closed.."
